As part of the Kikkoman communication and brand strategy, taste took on the relaunch of its complex, multi-lingual website. Kikkoman was to become the strongest culinary platform for international cooking inspiration with a focus on umami.

A RELAUNCH THAT TASTES GOOD TO EVERYONE
The new Kikkoman website accompanies the redirection of brand communication. We are moving away from the perception of soy sauce for Asian cuisine towards a crossover cuisine from different countries. With numerous country-specific dishes, the website offers inspiration and a unique cooking experience.
INFORM, INSPIRE, COMMUNICATE
The modern and colorful website is a central digital hub that bundles all topics, is always up to date and serves as a landing page for the social media channels. The first contact with the brand in its digital space should primarily be fun and stimulate the desire for more. Recipes are the ideal tool in this regard to inspire and inform. Feedback tools encourage the Kikkoman community to interact with the brand, while the images and text make the website a real performance tool for further measures.

The relaunch included changes in information architecture, user-friendliness, brand fit, programming and a high-quality development according to current standards. It was time for a unified brand image for all overarching multi-language websites with an improved user experience and usability. The goal was to create a modern platform that makes you want to keep discovering new recipes with Kikkoman.
