Bad Reichenhaller AlpenSalz bears its origin in the name. The most famous salt brand in Germany stands for high-quality salt from the depths of the Alps. Bad Reichenhaller brings the treasure of the Alps into the local kitchen, where it provides original flavor. taste and the well-known music recognition app Shazam work together to bring the Alpine world out of the box and into the the smartphone using innovative augmented reality technology.

DISCOVER THE ALPINE WORLD WITH SHAZAM CODE
Millions of Bad Reichenhaller packages in German food retail stores are provided with a Shazam code. By scanning the code, visitors gain insight into the virtual 3D brand world via keyhole optics - not just once, but over and over again!
TRADITIONAL BRAND WITH A MODERN WOW EFFECT
360° TOUR THROUGH THE BERCHTESGADEN SALT MINE
Within the virtual world of the Alps, the visitor has access to relevant content via individual hotspots. For example, there is the possibility of discovering the Berchtesgaden salt mine as a 360° experience using Google Tours technology. Alternatively, the 14 highlights of the salt mine can also be viewed with Google Cardboard as a virtual reality tour.
EXPANDING THE BRAND'S DIGITAL ECOSYSTEM
We used interfaces to the respective social media channels of Bad Reichenhaller to create ideas relating to baking, cooking and DIY. Within the AR Experience, users can also see content from Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and the in-house blog. So much inspiration!
